Roc's Reflections- I don't want to be the Grinch

I caved. I care more about keeping my staff in a positive mood throughout the holidays then I do about some grinchy person getting offended that we have a tree. Problem was the only tree I had to spare was a blue one that my son decorates with UNC stuff and puts in his room. He was happy to share.

  2. A college dorm tree? I'm sure it's got some great Christmas stories.

  3. Had the same problem this school year. Have a Jehovah Witness as a student. Mom made it clear that she wasn't to do anything holiday related. Made it 'fun' making sure that nothing was offensive. I wanted to tell her to keep her child home.
Then there were the years that my 'boss' was Jewish and we couldn't even say Merry Christmas....

  4. Oh to hell with "those" kinds of people. If they don't like...then tough! I think that if it puts ya'll in good cheer than keep it! I don't get offended by people with no Christmas cheer or other religions views on their own holidays. So why should they be offended by mine? I'm just sayin!

  5. I just gotta say that if you attend an american school or daycare and Americas Traditions offend you then go to a private one or stay in your country or take a damn day off so that we can be free to do what comes natural to us.
